Livin’ the Life
So I’m sure you guys have gotten this vibe already, but I feel like I’m truly living the life of my dreams right now. Well, the life of my dreams as a student. I am working at a job that I truly enjoy, even on the slow days in the office. I’m passionate about the topics I write about. I live and go to class with a large group of my peers who all seem to share my passion for politics. And through my classes I’m getting to delve into the intricacies of political journalism, economics, public policy, and political science while satisfying my love of learning.
I am presented with amazing new opportunities almost daily in my everyday activities–I’m always meeting someone new, doing something different, or being introduced to a new way of looking at things. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from so many intelligent, talented people while having them listen to my input as well. This really has been and continues to be the opportunity of a lifetime.
