Yes! I have a job! After graduation, I will be working for Michigan Farm Bureau as the North Region Regional Representative. I am really excited. I will get to work with people and discuss agriculture in the form of policy issues and other concerns. I can’t wait to meet some of the people that I will be working with. It is going to be a really interesting job where I meet a lot of new people and have new experiences every day. The job includes A LOT of driving, but that’s ok. I like to drive, especially when it’s nice out. There is nothing better than driving with the windows down and the radio going.
Now comes the hard part though. I have to find an apartment, furniture, etc. quickly. I am officially starting May 12, the Monday after Saturday’s graduation. This means that I have to find an apartment while I am in school, which can be tricky seeing as Gaylord and Albion are essentially on opposite sides of the state (although it’s only 3.5 hours, about the same as a trip home for me). I just have to find time during school that I can drive up there and look at apartments.
